Ye Zhongqiao, also known as Shi Niu, Lingnan Jiulong Hermit, and Southland Lychee Leaf, was born in the year of Xinchou. He hails from Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, China. He is a member of the China Democratic National Construction Association, the Executive Director of the Calligraphy Art Research Association of the China Yi Association, Vice President of the Central Academy of Fine Arts Famous Artists Calligraphy and Painting Institute, a national-level artist, a renowned contemporary Chinese flower and bird painter, a nationally registered senior art and calligraphy appraiser, and currently serves as the Deputy Director of the China Confucius Art Museum. He also holds the position of Deputy Director at the Lingnan Cultural Heritage Research Institute of Guangdong Province, Deputy Director of the Lingnan Branch of the China National Academy of Painting, Consultant of the Guangdong Provincial Democratic National Construction Association, Director of the Guangdong Provincial Artists Association, Chairman of the Third Session of the Yunfu City Artists Association, Legal Representative, and Honorary Chairman of the Fourth Session of the Yunfu Artists Association. He is also an advisor to the Yunfu Calligraphers Association, Deputy Director of the Guangdong Association of Yi Association Calligraphy and Painting Institute, a contracted artist for the “Ink and Brush” and “Master Lecture” programs on the Education Ministry’s TV channel, a special commentator for the Chinese “National Essence” magazine, a contracted artist for the China Confucius Art Museum, and a researcher at the Guangxi University’s Institute of National Studies and I Ching.
