Li Zhaoyin was born in 1963 in Lianjiang County, Fujian Province. He is a professional calligrapher, calligraphy and painting media, art curator, and publisher. He graduated from the Xi’an Calligraphy Academy, the China University of Painting and Calligraphy, and the China Calligraphers Association Training Center. He has studied with famous calligraphers Pan Shilan and Hu Wei.
He is currently the Director-General of the Foreign Exchange Committee of the Chinese Calligraphy Association, the President of the Chinese Calligraphers Association of America, the President of the Overseas Chinese Calligraphers Association and Co-President of the American Branch, the President of the New York Committee of the World Tour of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting, the Vice President of the United East Chinese Association, and the Director of the New York Liaison Office of the Beijing Calligraphy Examination Center of the Chinese Calligraphers Association.
