Guo Yequn

Guo Yequn, a male, works at Guangdong Humen Bridge Limited Company. He apprenticed under the renowned calligrapher Mr. Li Cilin. Starting in 2018, he began studying Maite calligraphy under the tutelage of Mr. Li Cilin, a disciple of the famous Lingnan calligrapher Mai Huasan. In recent years, he has accompanied his teacher, Mr. Li, to various calligraphy exhibitions in Guangzhou and has also provided guidance in children’s calligraphy classes at the Youth Palace. For five consecutive years at his workplace, he has organized the creation of Spring Festival couplets for employees as a gesture of goodwill. He has participated in numerous calligraphy and painting competitions organized by higher authorities and achieved excellent results. In 2023, he participated in the “China Red • Happiness for All” Spring Couplets Competition in Guangzhou and received a silver award.
