Zhou Yonglin, male, of Han ethnicity, was born in 1974. He is a member of the Guangdong Association of Couplets, a member of the Calligraphy and Painting Institute of the Guangdong Association of Couplets, and a member of the Calligraphy and Photography Association of the Guangdong Airport Management Group.
Since childhood, he has been studying calligraphy and practicing from the works of famous calligraphers, with a particular fondness for regular script (kaishu) and running script (xingshu). He received instruction from Professor Mai Huasan, a renowned Chinese calligrapher, and became an apprentice of the well-known Guangdong calligrapher Li Cilin. His calligraphy works have been selected for exhibitions and received awards on numerous occasions.
In 2019, he won the third prize in the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission competition.
In 2021, his works were selected for the “Guanyinshan Cup” Hundred Characters and Hundred Couplets Celebration of the Centennial of the Communist Party of China (exhibited at the Guangdong Provincial Sun Yat-sen Library).
In 2021, he received an Excellent Award in the National Civil Aviation Workers’ Union Calligraphy Competition.
In 2022, he received an Excellent Award in the Guangdong State-owned Enterprises’ Integrity Culture Calligraphy and Photography competition.
