Zeng Deyuan, born in July 1969 in Xinhua Town, Huadu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, has had a lifelong passion for calligraphy. From a young age, he received guidance from renowned masters such as Luo Yaoquan and Tang Yao, which set him on the path of calligraphy. During his time at the Guangdong Cultural Center, he continued to be mentored by teachers like Wang Cuciai, Chen Chusheng, and Qiu Shikun. In his early years, he studied the works of calligraphy masters like Yan Zhenqing’s Duo Bao Pagoda and Liu Gongquan’s Xuanmi Pagoda, and later delved into the styles of Huang Tingjian, Wen Zhengming, and Wang Chong.
He currently holds positions as a council member of the Huadu District Calligraphers Association, a member of the Guangzhou Calligraphers Association, a member of the Guangdong Calligraphers Association, a member of the Guangdong Couplets Association, a member of the Guangdong Couplets Association’s Calligraphy and Painting Institute, and a member of the Guangdong Wushu Association.
