Wu Zhuohuai, a native of Taishan, Guangdong, is a senior engineer and chief engineer, a member of the Chinese Association of Science and Technology, and has made important contributions in the field of science. He is now the vice president of the New York Chinese National Art Research Association, a lifelong director of the China Jianguang Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, an executive director of the Global Artists Alliance, an academician of the Nine Dragons Art Institute, a director of the New York Poetry, Painting, and Chess Association Painting and Calligraphy Institute, a director of the New York Arts and Energy Painting Institute, and an advisor to the North American Association of Painting and Calligraphy Artists.
Wu Zhuohuai is a multi-talented artist, with a wide range of skills in Chinese calligraphy and painting. He was a member of the art group of Taishan Middle School in his early years, and at the age of 14, he already won the silver medal in the first art and painting exhibition in Taishan, Guangdong, but because of his family’s poverty, he did not go to the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, where he had been admitted, and then took the science and technology course. Wu Zhuohuai learned calligraphy when he was young, first learning Liu and then advancing to Wang, with an authentic script. He was known to have a general style. Many of his works have been collected by expatriate leaders, big bosses, judges, lawyers, physicians, accountants, and national leaders. His works have been exhibited in New York, Nanjing, Beijing, Taipei, and Hong Kong, and have also been selected for the International Exhibition of Chinese Calligraphy in New York. He has been awarded the Grand Prize, First Prize, and Gold Prize.
