Qiao Ping, male, born in 1955, is a member of the Communist Party of China, with a postgraduate degree, the title of chief editor, and a deputy to the Guangzhou Municipal People’s Congress.
He was: engraving technician of Changsha Arts and Crafts Company in Hunan Province, military journalist of the People’s Liberation Army Navy, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, deputy director of the Management Committee and general manager of Guangzhou Daily Newspaper Group, chairman of Yue Media, a listed company, vice chairman of Guangdong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, chairman of Guangzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and deputy director of the UNESCO Committee of the Standing Committee of Guangzhou People’s Congress.

He has published 2 personal literature monographs, 7 personal calligraphy collections, edited 26 various collections, held more than 40 personal calligraphy exhibitions, and his calligraphy works have been collected by various institutions and individuals at home and abroad.
In 2010, he wrote the calligraphy of the slogan of the Guangzhou Asian Games, “Come together for more excitement”, which was distributed throughout the Asian Games venues and the streets of Guangzhou, and had a great impact on people’s hearts. He was awarded the “May Day” Cultural Medal of Guangzhou.
