Mai Zijian

Mai Zijian, male, of Han ethnicity, was born on April 15, 2013. He is currently a student at Deng Shichang Memorial Primary School in Haizhu District, Guangzhou. Under the tutelage of renowned calligrapher Li Cilin, he has achieved several prestigious awards:

In 2019, he received a “Silver Award” in the Youth Division of the 11th Hehuai International Art Exhibition.

In December 2020, he was honored with a “Gold Award” in the calligraphy category at the Guangdong Youth Calligraphy and Painting – A Beautiful Life Labor Creation competition.

In June 2021, he achieved a “First Prize” in the calligraphy category, primary school lower grade division, at the “Haiyan Cup” Haizhu District Youth Calligraphy and Painting Competition.

In August 2021, he was awarded a “Gold Award” in the calligraphy category in the “New Era, Outstanding Youth” National Youth Art Exhibition, Guangzhou Area, Children’s Group A.

In October 2022, he received a “Second Prize” in the primary school soft-pen calligraphy category at the 14th Hai Zhu District Chinese Classic Recitation and Writing Competition.

In 2022, he was awarded an “Outstanding Award” in the calligraphy category at the 26th National Primary and Secondary School Students’ Painting and Calligraphy Competition.

In November 2022, he was recognized with an “Honorable Mention” in the calligraphy category (primary school upper grade division) at the Fifth “Shi Xiang Yuan Cup” Youth Calligraphy and Painting Competition, dedicated to preserving ancient cultural heritage.

In January 2022, he secured a “First Prize” in the Couplets (Lower Group) category at the First “China Red – Ten Thousand Blessings” Calligraphy and Painting Competition.

In February 2023, he earned a “Silver Award” in the Couplets category (Middle Group) at the Second “China Red – Ten Thousand Blessings” Calligraphy and Painting Competition.

In April 2023, he received a “Third Prize” in the calligraphy category for primary school students at the “Haiyan Cup” Haizhu District Youth Calligraphy and Painting Competition.

Most recently, in October 2023, he was awarded the “First Prize” in the soft-pen calligraphy category for primary school upper grade students at the Seventh “Hope Ode – National Youth Calligraphy and Painting Art Exhibition,” both in the Guangdong Province and the national level.
