Li Quzhao, a male of Han ethnicity, was born on March 23, 2009. He is currently a student at Wenhan Middle School. He has excelled in various calligraphy and painting competitions, including winning the first prize in the 2018 “Haiyan Cup” Haizhu District Youth Calligraphy and Painting On-site Brushing Contest, the gold award in the 2018 China-France PH Cup International Art Exhibition for Youth and Children, and the first prize in the 2018 23rd National Primary and Secondary School Students Painting and Calligraphy Competition.
In 2019, he achieved a second prize in the “Haiyan Cup” Haizhu District Youth Calligraphy and Painting On-site Brushing Contest. In the same year, he also received a first prize in the 17th Haizhu District Young Pioneers Cultural Festival’s Calligraphy Competition, and a second prize in the “Ink and Blessings for the Motherland” – 2019 “Kang Youwei Cup” Children’s Calligraphy and Painting On-the-spot Brushing Contest. Additionally, he won a bronze award in the 2019 2nd “Inheritance of Calligraphy and the Way of Writing” National Youth Calligraphy Competition and Calligraphy Education Forum.
In 2020, he secured a first prize in the “Ink Youth, Inheritance of Lingnan” Guangdong Youth Calligraphy and Painting Competition’s Calligraphy On-site Competition. Furthermore, his calligraphy piece, “Spring in the Hall, a Hundred Flowers in Bloom,” was collected and displayed by the Foshan Nanhai District Teacher Development Center. In the same year, he received a special award in the “Saluting Heroes, Building the Future” 2020 “Kang Youwei Cup” Thousand Children’s Calligraphy and Painting Competition held by the Guicheng Street. His outstanding performance in various subjects in the end-of-term examinations in the same year earned him the title of “Wenhan Star.”
In the first semester of 2020-2021, he continued to excel and was recognized as a “Wenhan Star.” Additionally, he received a first prize in the 2020 Guangdong Youth Calligraphy and Painting Competition’s on-site spontaneous brushing finals. He was also honored as the “Most Beautiful Boy in Nanhai District” for the 2019-2020 academic year and recognized as an “Outstanding Student in Nanhai District” for 2020-2021.
In the “Anti-Drug Cup” 2021 Foshan City National Calligraphy and Painting Competition, he won the first prize in the brush category for middle school students. He also achieved a first prize in the inaugural “China Red, Blessing for All” Calligraphy and Painting Competition. For 2021-2022, he was acknowledged as an excellent Young Pioneer member in the Guicheng Street. In 2021, he received a first prize in the “Kang Youwei Cup” Thousand Children’s Calligraphy and Painting Competition, and he was honored with a special award in the second “China Red, Blessing for All” competition.
