Lin Huanquan

Lin Huanquan was born in August 1952 in Taishan, Guangdong. University education. Now lives in Beijing. In June 2016, he was awarded the certificate of “National Occupational Qualification Assessment Senior Calligrapher” by the Culture and Art Talent Center of the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the Occupational Skill Identification Center of the Ministry of Culture after the examination. Now he is the art advisor of the Overseas Friendship Association of Guangdong Wuyi in Beijing, the associate professor of Guangmei Art Center, the director of China National Art People’s Calligraphy and Painting Institute, the invited calligrapher of Beijing Mustard Seed Garden Painting Institute, the vice president of Guangmei Calligraphy and Painting Institute, the calligrapher of Guangmei Calligraphy and Painting Institute, the art reviewer of the expert committee of Guangdong Commercial Art and Design Industry Association, the art advisor of Guangdong Guangmei Design Institute, the calligrapher of Kaiping Branch of Beijing Mustard Seed Garden Painting Institute, Guangzhou City Haizhu District Art Calligrapher Binjiang Branch Vice President, Guangzhou Binjiang Street Calligraphy and Painting Association Vice President, Guangzhou Haizhu District Art Calligrapher Association Member, also appointed as Guangdong Yangjiang Collectors Association Calligraphy and Painting Art Consultant, Guangdong Yangjiang City Jiangcheng District Calligraphers Association Art Consultant, Guangdong Yangjiang City Jiangcheng Calligraphy and Painting Institute Art Consultant, Guangdong Taishan City Calligraphy Association Consultant.
His calligraphy works have won awards in national, provincial, and municipal competitions at all levels.
In November 2017, he held a joint exhibition of calligraphy and painting works of well-known Chinese and American calligraphy and painting artists with domestic and foreign calligraphers at the Guangdong Overseas Chinese Museum. Before that, he also held a joint exhibition of calligraphy and painting works with national famous artists in Foshan City and Qingyuan City.
In August 2018, he wrote the title for the film “Fuxing”, and in 2018, his calligraphy was selected to be included in the compilation of stamps, telephone top-up cards, and postcards made by China Post, which was released in Beijing on September 16 of that year. On October 1, 2018, he received the “Most Powerful Artist of China” award in the fifth “Most Powerful Artist of China” competition.
In January 2019, he was selected as one of the “Official Recommended Artists of the 2019 National People’s Congress”, published in the People’s Representative Newspaper on March 16, and distributed to the delegates at the Great Hall of the People and all over the country.
On January 12, 2020, CCTV “Hidden Treasure” column 2019 Belt and Road “Hidden Treasure Cup” the first national painting and calligraphy competition, won the “Excellence Award”, was named “excellent artist”, in CCTV He received a certificate of honor at the “2020 Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Competition Award Ceremony and Chinese Artists Spring Festival Gala”.
His works have long been used as high-level gifts for domestic enterprises, units, and chambers of commerce. His calligraphy works have been collected and engraved with stones and plaques by Guangdong Overseas Chinese Museum, famous collectors, societies, and temples in China and abroad, and become the signboard of domestic enterprises and brand trademarks and brand planning.
