Lin Huanquan was born in August 1952 in Taishan, Guangdong. University education. Now lives in Beijing. In June 2016, he was awarded the certificate of “National Occupational Qualification Assessment Senior Calligrapher” by the Culture and Art Talent Center of the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the Occupational Skill Identification Center of the Ministry of Culture after the examination. His calligraphy works have won awards in national, provincial, and municipal competitions at all levels.
In November 2017, he held a joint exhibition of calligraphy and painting works of well-known Chinese and American calligraphy and painting artists with domestic and foreign calligraphers at the Guangdong Overseas Chinese Museum. Before that, he also held a joint exhibition of calligraphy and painting works with national famous artists in Foshan City and Qingyuan City.
In August 2018, he wrote the title for the film “Fuxing”, and in 2018, his calligraphy was selected to be included in the compilation of stamps, telephone top-up cards, and postcards made by China Post, which was released in Beijing on September 16 of that year. On October 1, 2018, he received the “Most Powerful Artist of China” award in the fifth “Most Powerful Artist of China” competition.
In January 2019, he was selected as one of the “Official Recommended Artists of the 2019 National People’s Congress”, published in the People’s Representative Newspaper on March 16, and distributed to the delegates at the Great Hall of the People and all over the country.
