Li Guang

Li Guang, character Huai Mo, number Tianshui, a native of Tianjin and of Hebei ancestry, is an American calligrapher. He is a calligrapher and a good painter. He is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, President of the North American Chinese Calligraphy Art Society, and Executive Director of the Qufu Hongru Painting and Calligraphy Institute. He held his first calligraphy exhibition in Wangfujing (Beijing painting store) in the year Qianxi Long and has since held several solo exhibitions in New York, the internationally acclaimed art capital.
His calligraphy works have been selected for four consecutive national exhibitions, and many of his works have won awards and been selected in international painting and calligraphy events. His works have been engraved in stone monuments such as Henan Huanglong Monument Forest, Three Gorges, Dahei Mountain in Liaoning, Daqing in Heilongjiang, Tianjin Peach Garden, Hunan Changde Poetry Wall, Chinese Cangjie Monument Forest and other tourist attractions. His works have been included in many dictionaries such as Who’s Who in the World, Dictionary of Experts and Professors, and ‘China-Korea Dictionary’. His media coverage has been published in overseas Chinese newspapers, World Journal, Sing Tao Daily, China Painting and Calligraphy, Beijing Evening News, Tianjin Daily, Zhongshan Daily, Business Daily, Chinese TV in the US, Chinese International TV, etc.
His calligraphy works have participated in the United Nations Chinese Day activities. Recently, his article “The Chinese Character ……” was published in People’s Daily, Minsheng.com and Minsheng Weekly.
