Chiu Chi Ling, under the tutelage of his father, Chiu Kao (Chiu’s teacher under Lam Sai Wing), is the grandson of Lam Sai Wing’s disciple. He was also an actor in kung fu films in the 1970s, including “Snake Difficult Hand”, “Six Harmonious Hands”, “Kung Fu”, “Journey to the West” and “The Mermaid”. He founded the “International Hung Gar Kung Fu Association”, which is well known overseas. He is a veteran martial artist who has worked with stars such as Stephen Chow, Jackie Chan, and Chow Yun Fat, and an all-around “Transformer” who has appeared in over 70 films.
As the son of Wong Fei Hung’s grandson, Chiu Kau, and a re-disciple of Lam Sai Wing (Porky Wing), Chiu Chi Ling is one of the world’s leading Hung Gar masters today. He founded the International Chiu Chi Ling Hung Gar Kung Fu Association, which has over 200,000 disciples worldwide and has a great influence overseas. But there is nothing more impressive than the tailor in Stephen Chow’s movie “Kung Fu”.
