Chen Ruihan, of Han ethnicity, was born on June 7, 2012, and is currently a student at the First Primary School of Jiannan New Village in Haizhu District, Guangzhou. He has been under the tutelage of the renowned calligrapher, Mr. Li Cilin. His achievements include obtaining various honors:
- In January 2022, he achieved a Level Four Certificate in Brush Calligraphy in the national calligraphy and painting proficiency examination conducted by the Ministry of Education.
- In February 2022, he was awarded the “First Prize” in the “China Red, Ten Thousand Blessings” Guangzhou Spring Calligraphy and Painting Competition.
- In May 2022, he was recognized as a “Writing Prodigy” in the Seventh Guangdong Provincial Primary and Secondary School Students’ Calligraphy Contest.
- In June 2022, he received the “Special Prize” in the Fourth National Youth Calligraphy Competition with a hard brush.
- Also in June 2022, he earned a “First Prize” in the Haizhu District Haiyan Cup Calligraphy Competition.
- In July 2022, he achieved a Level Six Certificate in Hard Brush Calligraphy in the national calligraphy and painting proficiency examination.
- In August 2022, he was awarded the “Second Prize” in the Guangzhou Municipal Education Bureau’s calligraphy, painting, and handicraft competition for primary and secondary school teachers and students.
- In 2022, he received a “First Prize” in the 26th National Primary and Secondary School Students’ Calligraphy and Painting Competition in the calligraphy category.
- In November 2022, he earned the third prize in the Youth Category of the Second National Hard Brush Calligraphy Competition “China Dream Hard Pen Love.”
- In April 2023, he obtained a membership certificate from the Guangdong Hard Brush Calligraphy Association.
- In June 2023, he was awarded the “Second Prize” in the Haizhu District Education Bureau’s Haiyan Cup Calligraphy Competition.
- In July 2023, he received the “Second Prize” in the “Sing Hope National Youth Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition” in the hard brush calligraphy category.
- In August 2023, his hard brush calligraphy work based on Wang Tianxiang’s “Ode to Moral Integrity” was displayed at the exhibition “Sending Poetry and Cultivating Young Poetic Hearts” organized by the Guangzhou Municipal Education Bureau at the Guangzhou City Library.
